Harvest Month

Due to the likely ongoing restrictions on Sunday service numbers it has been decided to make September a 'Harvest Month’.  A month-long effort for Haslemere Food Bank will be a reflection of the great demand that has been placed upon them during the months of Covid-19 Lockdown.  It is hoped that during September we will be able to make a really good collection for those in need.  St Bartholomews School will be involved in the same collection.

Our actual Harvest Festival Service will take place on Sunday 27 September.

What to Give

Haslemere Foodbank urgently needed:

Tinned meat, vegetables, pulses, fruit, tomatoes and fish.  Packets of couscous, coffee, tea bags, oats and custard.  Also toilet rolls and shampoo.  Multiple smaller packets and tins are better than single bulk sizes.

Haslemere Foodbank don’t need:

Perishable items, alcoholic beverages, items beyond their sell-by dates.

How to Give

Donations may be left in the churches on Sundays and Wednesdays when open. The food bank is also now able to take monetary donations which can be made via the Church website in the usual way— a ‘Harvest’ option has also been added to the Donate option on the homepage.
