The Link Reimagined

An exciting new facility for the whole community of Haslemere

The Link, a converted former school, is owned by the parish church but is an asset held for the benefit of the whole community. Currently it is underutilised and the room sizes and facilities do not meet existing let alone future needs of our community in Haslemere.  Our research across the town has identified many unmet needs, in all age groups, which we believe an improved Link building could address.  To meet those needs we have developed and costed plans for a significantly expanded and refurbished building - “The Link Re-imagined”. Our project team is currently in the process of seeking planning permission and applying for funding from the National Lottery Communities fund - to add to a significant contribution from parish related funds.

On Sunday 28th August 2022 an application for funding was submitted to the National Lottery Community Fund to help with the costs of reimagining the Link for a new future.

Will you join us in prayer?

Dear Lord of all creation,

You have taught us that we are called to love our neighbours by our deeds and prayers. You have shown us through the gift of your son Jesus Christ the commitment of all things to that purpose.

We pray that the treasures we hold in your name may be increased towards the vision you have called us to be.

Upon the rock of your Church, we ask that you help us to further build your Kingdom in this Parish of Haslemere, by the transformation of The Link building.

Lord in these weeks we wait in hope for the answer to our application for funding from the National Lottery Community Fund.

In faith, we ask that you shepherd the hearts and minds of all who wait in hope or fear for the outcome, and for the future.

To the glory of God, we ask this in Jesus’ name.
