Easing of Restrictions after 6th February

Covid Related Changes to Worship from February

Greeting to you all and may God's blessing be in your homes.

The time has now come for an update on Covid restrictions for the church.  I would like to briefly outline the changes which will come into effect from this Sunday (6th February).

Put simply, this is a return to the pattern which we held until December.  Mask wearing during the services returns to being at individual worshipper's discretion, whereas since December the message had been strongly recommended.  This applies all parts of the services, including congregational singing.  The availability of the chalice will also return for those who wish to partake.

As ever, we remain with a pattern of times and service which allow space at the weekly 8:00am Holy Communion, 6:00pm twice monthly Evensong and 9:00am midweek Holy Communion.  The live streaming of the 10:00am service also remains as before.  Refreshment will be served after the 10:00am service, and as far as possible we should be respectful of each other's space.  As ever, please do use the hand-gel when arriving and leaving the church.

I'm sure we are all hoping for a long-term settled situation with the restrictions.  It goes without saying that your safety and cooperation are both very important.
