Families@4

It does exactly what it says on the tin!

Each second and fourth Sunday in the month, at 4:00pm in the afternoon, we open up The Link at St Bartholomew's Church (that's the church hall) to our children and parents.  We gather for a great time of play and activity, family worship, and a lovely children's tea-party style buffet.

This is a Covid-19 compliant event, with all hygine measures and guidelines in place.  It's important to book on below to tell us you are coming.  Details will be sent to you, so that you are aware of how the session will run.

For many families this is firm fixture in their diary, and a way of belonging to the church community.  It's more than just another activity to attend - Families@4 is a church congregation in it's own right.  It's very busy and very popular!  This is the place to make friends and join the community of other local families.

Each month there is a theme taken from a Bible story - anything from Noah to the Good Samaritan.  In St Bartholomew's church we have a super audio-visual system so we can use the latest multimedia to tell the story and help pur children learn.

We usually finish around 5:30pm with tired, happy and well fed children smiley

Our themes for the next Sunday are:

  • October 11th – God Creates the World Genesis 1-2
  • October 25th – Adam and Eve make a bad choice Genesis 3
  • November 8th – Noah and the Ark Genesis 6-9
  • November 22nd – Mary and the Angel Luke 1:26-38
  • December 6th – Jesus is Born Luke 2:1-20

Whilst we remain under Covid-19 restrictions it is necessary for all families who wish to come along to Families@4 to book in.  Please follow this link.
