Women of Worth

A New Group for Women Seeking thinking about Faith 

In today’s society, women are constantly being subjected to expectations about beauty, careers, relationships and more.  It’s hard to find and maintain self-worth when we live in fear of meeting societal standards of what it means to be a woman.  It can be hard especially as Christian women, as societal expectations are far from God’s expectations of us.  In order to find our worth, we need to look deep within ourselves.  Our value and worth come from God. The creation of a woman was the beginning of a woman’s worth.

Beginning in March 2024, Women of Worth is a new fellowship group to support women thinking about their faith.

Together we have a programme for:

• Lunches and afternoon tea
• Walks and charity events
• Celebrations and achievements

The Women of Worth will be holding a pop up shop of preloved gifts and accessories as well as tea and cake after the service on 27th October in aid of the Link Project. If you have any good quality, new or preloved accessories- handbags, scarves, belts, jewellery etc or gifts such as candles and bath bombs that you would like to donate, please bring them to the Parish office before Friday 18th October. We would also love your support on the day- come along and grab yourself a bargain! Start the Christmas shopping while supporting a worthy cause!
