Families
Here in the Parish of Haslemere, we are very family focussed. We want children and their parents to feel included and valued within our church community. We have two services specifically designed with families in mind and we also have several youth groups ranging from babies through to teenagers!
Our Sunday Morning Families service happens every first Sunday of the month at St Bartholomew's. Children over 4 years of age are invited to go out of the service and next door to the Link building to do some crafts and learn about a particular story from the bible while their parents can enjoy the service.
We meet every Monday morning during term time at St Christopher's Church from 10am to 11:30am.
A perfect playgroup where friendships are built while learning more about Jesus’s love through singing, story time, craft and play.
Here is an opportunity for Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers to enjoy a cuppa and chat in a supportive environment.
Our parish priest - Rector Chris - usually comes to get involved and have fun with the children. If you you were think of having your children baptised then that would be a great time to have a chat.
For our Season Specials, we gather in our churches for a great time of play, activity and family worship to celebrate the key seasons and festivals in the Church Calendar.
This includes our February Special, Mothering Sunday, Easter Good Friday Crafts, Summer BBQ, Light Party and Nativity Crafts.

The Den is a Church Youth Club aimed at 8 -12 year-olds, that will be held every Wednesday. It is all about having fun while making friends, playing games, faith exploration, spiritual connection, craft challenges, exciting outings and adventures, and making a difference in the local community & environment through our youth led projects.
Summit is a church youth group for 12-14 year olds that meets every second Wednesday of the month during term time from 5:45-7pm. The sessions are a mix of Christian spiritual discussion, fun socials and trips, and special projects to help the local community and environment. We are based out of St Christopher’s Church in Haslemere, however, we are often out in the local community and so locations are confirmed in each half term’s line up.
Our focus is on the health of our young people, not just their physical health, but also their spiritual, mental and emotional health as well as the health of the environment which also feeds back into their well-being.
